Ram had 15 coins, all the same kind, and he put them into 4 bags.
He labelled each bag with the number of coins inside it.
He could then pay any sum of money from 1 coin to 15 coins using one or more of the bags without opening any of the bags.
How many coins did he put in each bag?

Here is a hint. Suppose you have 3 coins and 2 bags. Put 1 coin in bag A and 2 coins in bag B. With bag A pay 1 coin, with bag B pay 2 coins and with bag A and Bag B together pay 3 coins.
Without taking any coins out of the bags, and just handing over some bags, you want to be able to pay 1 coin, or 2, or 3, or 4 or any amount up to 15 coins when of course you would hand over all four bags.
