Click here for the GTEN workshop video that explores ways of learning mathematics by solving Tangram puzzles.

These Global Teacher Empowerment Network (GTEN) videos and the AIMING HIGH Inclusion and Home Learning Guides provide resources for differentiation and inclusion, with guidance and learning activities that follow a spiral learning pathway from early years to leaving school. For primary teaching we lay the foundations for later learning. We plant the seeds, and we begin to cultivate insights, visualization, knowledge and understanding of mathematics. Practical experiences underpin later abstract thinking. Secondary teachers can use some of the same activities with learners who have not mastered the basics and there are more learning activities to build knowledge, understanding and skills for lifelong learning.
