AIMSSEC’s mission is to empower teachers, teacher trainers and subject advisers to combat poverty by bringing new skills, new hopes and new horizons to African schools and raising standards of mathematics. Courses are taught by an international team of mathematics education experts. Residential courses for subject leader training are followed by 3 or 6 months distance learning. Either stay in the student hostel at Stellenbosch High Scool or book your own B&B. Find your own funding or apply for a bursary. Criteria for bursaries depend on the poverty level of the area of your school and the school fees.
